Irish people love sport. As well as soccer, rugby, hockey and many other sports there are some traditional Irish sports. The boys were taught the basics of Hurling and Gaelic Football. Listening to instructions while having fun and moving around is a really good way to improve the boys' English as well as make new friends.
Hi. I was watching the opening ceremony of Olympic games on TV just now. When the Team lreland walked in, I found myself clapping my hands without knowing. I even yelled GANBARE at them (to my surprise)! It seems the mere fact that my son is staying there has given me a totally different view. I now feel very close to Ireland (without having gained any solid knowledge about the country). This is funny, but I will at least look up some websites and try to know about Team Ireland! Thank you as always!
